It is with great excitement that we introduce Bridging Perspectives, a journal dedicated to creating a space where thoughtful exchange can flourish and understanding can expand across experiences, disciplines, and worldviews. In a time when healthcare systems—and the people who sustain them—are facing profound complexity, our mission is simple yet vital: to bring together diverse voices to spark curiosity, inspire reflection, and encourage meaningful change.
Bridging Perspectives exists to challenge assumptions and invite new ways of seeing and engaging with the world around us. We believe that insight grows where lived experience, professional expertise, and reflective inquiry meet. By weaving together contributions from educators, clinicians and scholars in healthcare across settings, we aim to foster connection and deepen understanding of the unique characteristics, challenges, and imbalances that shape the healthcare workforce.
As a collaborative space, this journal especially welcomes work that strives to expand access, foster equity, and cultivate supportive environments for all who give and receive care. Whether through innovative educational practices, analyses of systemic barriers, or narratives that illuminate the human aspects of healthcare, each manuscript offers an opportunity to broaden our collective perspective and strengthen our shared commitment to equity and inclusion.
We are proud to be sponsored by Women in PEM and to publish three issues each year. Our pages are open to contributors from around the world, and we invite submissions that highlight creative and forward-thinking approaches to building expansive, compassionate, and sustainable environments for healthcare stakeholders everywhere.
Thank you for joining us in this endeavor. We look forward to the conversations, challenges, and discoveries that Bridging Perspectives will cultivate in the months and years ahead.
